Lis works hard day in and day out in Doc Boo's Medical Tent. Her day has one hope: that her beloved Joc will come to see her. Of course, Joc doesn't know this. That would make the love triangles that plague Lerris' camp far too simple.

She knows Joc is core over protoplasm for Pidedis, but she won't let that spark of hope deep within her gears diminish. Maybe someday Joc will give up on Pidedis and then they can be together, happy forever...

But barring that simple wish, Lis is willing to help Joc get together with Pidedis if it means he will be happy. That's all she wants. That's all she needs. That's all she's ever dreamed of.
